Lamar Young is a lead instructor for Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) and Introduction to Engineering Design (IED). La’Mar has been teaching in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since 2008. Born in Norfolk, Virginia Mr. Young graduated from Virginia State University and began teaching technology in Virginia Beach. Mr. Young will also be acting as the lead student advisor for our Technology Student Association and looks forward to helping all our students succeed at Vance Academy of Engineering.
